Miss Reef Calendar 2016 – #WCW

This Wednesday I bring you the return of that which celebrates the lady’s derrière more than any other publication, the Miss Reef Calendar for 2016. Every year Reef Brazil releases a calendar that as per their advertising campaign for over 2 decades concentrates firmly on the rear part of some very good looking ladies in Bikinis. So enjoy the video and you can check out the online look book and order your calendar here – http://missreef.reef.com/

For this year’s Miss Reef calendar, the young, nomadic photographer Kate Bellm was unleashed into the jungles of Costa Allegre for her wanderlust interpretation of Just Passing Through. She took an edgy perspective but retained the mystery of Miss Reef. The final result was twelve months worth of youth culture-driven pop art of Miss Reef in cerulean lagoons and lush tropical woodlands of the Pacific Mexican coast, all with Miss Reef falling into Bellm’s brand of mischief and adventure.

For best viewing experience watch in 4K!

Super hot surfer Tia Blanco – #ExtremeWCW

Tia Blanco has been making waves since she was signed by Reef at 16. But she really impressed when winning the ISA World Junior Champs last year proving she has what it takes to compete with the best. She has obviously taken a note from Alana Blanchard’s book though and realised that her fiery good looks are also a valued asset and even did a Bikini shoot with Playboy Magazine recently. Got to say i hope she makes the tour…

Miss Reef 2015 Calendar – Homage to the Derrier

Yes Gents, tis time to celebrate that fantastical collection of images, that are the Miss Reef Calendar. No brand has ever done so much for the glorification of the perfect female bum than Reef have and they continue this marvellous tradition with the release of their 2015 Calendar and it’s incredible online video.

Follow Miss Reef around the storied tip of the Baja Peninsula – where the rolling Sea of Cortez, Mexico’s famed deserts, and the sparkling expanse of the Pacific Ocean all converge into a stunning back-drop as exotic as Miss Reef herself.

Meet a Hot Surfer – Tia Blanco

At just 16 years old and already loading up the major sponsors and results in her home waters of California, expect to see more of the talented and very hot, Tia Blanco. Originally from Costa Rica, she now calls San clemente home and can no doubt be seen ripping waves and turning heads from T-Street to Trestles. She was recently picked up by Reef and they made a snappy launch video of her surfing and rocking their bikini range – she also seems unfazed by the bigger stuff…

RVCA Rolling Retro 2014 – Round up and Video

I am not going to wax lyrical to much here, but my God Rolling Retro truly is the best day of the year. Every year just gets better and better. We were blessed with great weather, insane waves and a crowd of people from kids to oldies intent on having the best day they could together. Big thanks to everyone who supported the event! Especially big thanks to RVCA, Vudu Surf, Red Bull and Carling Black Label and of course our forecast and media partner, Wavescape.

Under Desert Sun – Another Angolan sojourn…

Every year there is a new surf spot that pops up on the radar with online videos and stories hitting the zines and Magazines. Angola seems to be the new perfect surf zone for 2013. With 2 groups of South Africans already weighing in with their videos, I have been patiently waiting for this to drop from a mixed team of Euros and Dane Gudauskas. Great edit, story and some pretty cool waves.

A film about exploration and surfing in the heart of Angola. It is in the hard moments, the moments when flights are missed and bus tickets bought, food is scarce but conversation is plentiful, cars are stuck but waves are just over the next dune, that the beauty of travel becomes apparent. It is in these moments that you learn to let go, to succumb to the wills of the road, and to allow life to happen around you and take in every experience. It was days of the most arduous travel any of had ever experienced, and in a moment it was washed away with the first wave- Kevin Voegtlin

Anything Sing – Free surf film from Reef

We all love free stuff and even better when a free surf film!

About: FROM THE DIRECTORS OF DEAR SUBURBIA…
The world is filled with distractions. everything around us blinks, rings, sings, shouts, distracts, vibrates, reminds, likes, comments and down- loads. the chaos and beauty of the world is being overshadowed by technological distractions and tweets that possess no lasting significance outside the screen they’re displayed.
Anything sing is our attempt to rise above that chaos by creating our own environments and settings. on different surfaces. new canvases. on concrete. on walls. on water. on arms, with ink. something permanent. Like moments.
