Boarding Powder in Japan with Will Jackways

There are very few things in this life that can compare to riding deep champagne powder! Japan has long been one of the top destinations for riding in deep pow pow and for good reason. With ocean on both sides and the right mountain line ups, they get fresh dumps almost every night. I could watch this video for days, but it would mean booking a ticket to Japan. Dane Reynolds – Dear Suburbia Mashup!

I love a good mashup! From music to surf videos, it’s a great way to to revisit your favorites. With this in mind I was stoked to come across this great mashup of Dane’s surfing from Kai Neville’s film, Dear Suburbia. It also has an amazing track! With Dane confirmed as a wildcard for the ASP World Tour event at Trestles later this month, this video will remind all why he is going to be very, very dangerous in that lineup!

The Friday Mix – Jbay Open Doccy, Enduro Life and River Surfing

Welcome to your Friday Mix and we start with an epic short doccy on the Jbay Open of Surfing this week. It was a super fun week in Jbay, a great competition and a huge battle between the age groups. You might also notice a certain captain’s voice commentating in the background haha! Great to see Greg Emslie with the win in Jbay finally!

Next up we got some awesome Enduro for you in Fly Machines’ Directors Reel for 2013. Some epic terrain, bikes and action that will get you frothing to get out into the great outdoors on your dirt machine.

Lastly we finish up with some river surfing from the alps. My mate Chris Cab sent me this video of his mates surfing in the middle of nowhere in Austria. Just goes to show how hard we as surfers will work to get a surf session in. Guess a its true what they say, Only a surfer knows the feeling…

The Friday Mix – Surf with John John, DC Skate, Red Bull Air King and Alana Blanchard…

I have had loads of requests to bring back the Friday Mix. A post with 3-4 great videos from the web covering all bases on Captain Kai’s World. So here it is…

We start with John Joh Florence and his latest mental surf short online, Free to Roam.
