Week in Action Ep 3 – Mason Ho, Snowboard Africa, Dlamini Dlamini & Surf Lebanon

Another action filled week in the latest episode and you won’t be able to stop watching!

The show this week

In this week’s show we go surfing in Lebanon with Adrien Toyon, Wasted Talent and Vans. Then its off to the mountains of Lesotho for the Winter Whip with LW Magazine and Afriski. We check out a killer session by Dlamini Dlamini at the Berrics skate compound and then head to Indonesia for Mason Ho and friends in his latest video, Green Monkey. Lastly check out Jack Robinson on Instagram with his latest post from Mexico.

Oakley Wave of the Winter 2015 Movie

Every winter on the North Shore, Surfline run the “wave of the winter” contest. Through video submission, surfers enter their best waves surfed along the North Shore over the winter for a $25’000 first prize. This season saw some crazy entries, but it was Mason Ho and Jamie O’Brien who fought it out for first place, both with crazy waves at Pipeline. Check out what happened…

2015 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Preview

We always get excited about Bells. The iconic event seems to deliver those magic moments that create legends and start World Title campaigns. The bad news is, the forecast this year is looking pretty dismal. You can almost guarantee that Day 1 will be surfed and then the long wait will begin. In fact we may see alternate venues come into play and that may well change up how your Fantasy Pick go. One pick I have for sure, Jordy Smith. He was looking in great form at Snapper till he got skunked by waves and if you remember back to small Bells last year he was killing it, till the robbery against Julian Wilson. Check the video below and relive the horror of Jordy not getting the score. I am pretty sure this footage still haunts Richie Porter late at night… (Jordy has the package, we know about the turns, but don’t forget the air game, as seen above.)

Filipe Toledo was in sublime form at Snapper and you can bet with a small wave forecast for Bells he will be deadly. Mick Fanning is another guy worth watching. Wildcard, MAson Ho, is one hell of a surfer and could just surprise some of the big seeds. Ok, thats me preview, now you go select your own team.
