Ken Block’s Gymkhana Nine – Raw Industrial

The Hoonigan, Ken Block, is back with another in his Gymkhana series and this time he is in industrial, run down New York. With more crazy stunts in his new, more powerful Ford Focus, including almost being t-boned by a train, this keeps the franchise going with style.

Drift City Cape Town

We about to get all Fast & Furious in Cape Town this week!

“Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and on Sunday 10th April 2016 the fire will be burning under Table Mountain, between the Castle of Good Hope and Cape Town City Hall thanks to a slew of the land’s most wicked sideways machinery. The Grand Parade at the heart of The city will play host to Cape Town’s premiere motorsport festival, dubbed Drift City.
The organisers have partnered with the City of Cape Town and Monster Energy Drinks to make sure that Drift City will endure as the most memorable celebration of smoking rubber and tortured tyres. You don’t want to miss this, and since a mere R80 for an adult ticket gets you through the doors there’s no reason to. Bring the kids (under 6) along for free.
Come for the tricked out BMWs, Nissans, Toyotas and more. Stay for the festival.
EMPHASIS ON FESTIVAL
You’re not going to struggle to keep the family entertained as Drift City will also feature go-karts and a skate park for your enjoyment. Food trucks will keep hunger at bay and if you really, absolutely feel the need to get closer to the action there’ll even be shotgun-rides on offer for spectators. Where else can you get strapped into a 500 horsepower drift machine and enjoy those smoky slides and that bouncing rev limiter in the most beautiful corner of the world from the passenger seat?
Book your tickets at computicket for the event of the century.

Gymkhana Seven – Ken Block unleashed on LA

I often wondered how they were going to step up the Gymkhana series this year after 6 almighty efforts already. Teaming up with the Need for Speed crew, Ken built a custom Mustang that has enough power to launch a space shuttle and unleashed it on the streets and freeways of Los Angeles.

Hoonigan, Ford and Need For Speed proudly present Ken Block’s Gymkhana SEVEN; Wild in the Streets: Los Angeles.

Ghost Wave – West Coast perfection with Twig and Frank Solomon

Ok, so the video is actually an Ian Walsh project, but to be fair, Grant Twig Baker and Frank Solomon, the South African chargers, are rather prominent. The video was shot by surf cinematographer, star, Taylor Steele, and funded by Hullet Packard, hence the Hollywood feel. The boys charge some rather perfect looking, but extremely heavy waves up the West Coast.

Gymkhana SIX: The Ultimate Gymkhana Grid Course

Wow, what can I actually say about this the 6th edition of Ken Block’s Gymkhana videos other than that it kicks ass, just like it’s predecessors. Literally almost a billion views over the last 5 years and in one day it already has over 2 million views on version 6. The new Need for Speed Rivals game are involved, he burns rubber around Lamborghinis, gets a soundtrack from Slayer and basically makes us all wish we were Hoonigans. Enjoy…

Rip Curl Pro Bells 2013 Preview

52 Years of iconic contest surfing starts up again tomorrow with the start of the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach. Stop 2 of the World Tour gets underway in small conditions with the forecasters calling epic conditions for the Easter Weekend, just in time for droves of fans to line the point at Bells.

That man Kelly Slater is in the number 1 slot once again, with Joel Parkinson breathing down his neck. Mick Fanning as defending champion will also be a major threat and after watching his turns at Snapper, you best believe that if Bells is big, Jordy Smith will be taking names! Dust Payne has just come off a win at Margaret River and that confidence may well see his best result on tour happening at Bells. Julian Wilson was also in that final and will be feeling good. Dark horses in my opinion will be Kohole Andino and Philipe Toledo.

Anything can happen at Bells though, so look forward to an exiting event!
