Welcome Elsewhere – Craig Anderson Short Film

Mr Casual returns with another Kai Neville creation. Craig Anderson has to be the most understated surfer, but when he gets in the water it is all style and flare. Watch this film and glory in the flashbacks to another era, mixed with the most modern of maneuvers.

Craig, “Driving across Australia. Hunting uncrowded waves. I like how hard the spots are to get too. I like being mysto in the desert. I like being in the jungle.”

Benji Brand & Perfect Mentawai Leftovers

Benji Brand lives on two continents, hailing from South Africa, but spending half his life on the North Shore of Hawaii. Thus, it was no surprise to see him popping up on this trip to the Mentawais for Surfing Magazine with the new breed of Hawaiian rippers, Isaiah Moniz, Josh Moniz, Seth Moniz, and Kaulana Apo. The boys scored a number of spots going mental and the level of surfing is absolutely crazy! Sit back and be jealous…

Living the Dream with Brendon Gibbens

Don’t we all wish we could earn a living travelling the globe doing what we love? Cape Town surfer, Brendon Gibbens, is living the dream as he gets paid to free surf and film surf movies. The Cape native finds himself based out of California these days and spends a lot of time on the road shooting for big wigs like, Kai Neville, but he still comes home for a visit now and then. This video was shot while home recently and the photo by Alan van Gysen at a Cape, big tube, beachy!

KERRZY – The new Josh Kerr Movie

He whips it, throws huge and creative airs and charges monster tubes. Yip, its time for the Josh Kerr movie and I am amped. His last film was incredible and on top of the surfing, it had one of the best soundtracks ever. When you have Taylor Knox and Kelly Slater talking you up in the trailer, you know you good, haha.

West Oz Free Surf with John John Florence and Yadin Nicol

The boys have had some down time at the Drug Aware Pro at Margaret River, but that does not mean they have been sitting back eating pies and drinking beer (Though they probably did that too.) Some massive punts on this fun looking bowl.

NB: SO THE NEW ASP NO LONGER WANT US EMBEDDING THEIR VIDEOS – AFTER BLOGS LIKE MINE HELPED SPREAD THEIR VIDEOS FOR YEARS HELPING TO GROW THE BRAND – SO YOU WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW THE LINK ON VIDEO TO YOUTUBE AND WATCH IT THERE. SAD BUT TRUE…

The Friday Mix – Mental Java Bodyboard, Josh Pall Skating & Bromdog ripping!

Time for another epic Friday Mix of action sports video from the week. I have been bombarded with good edits this week and it was tough choosing my three favorites, but these are them.

First off we go down to Java, Indonesia, with bodyboarder Joshua Garner and the Paradise Paradox. Deep and super thick pits with mental air game and a good backstory make this a winner. I am pretty sure most Bodyboarders will be booking tickets to Java soon…

Next up we go skating for a day round Sydney, with Josh Pall. Super relaxed and and clearly in an area he skates plenty, you can but help appreciate this video shot on a RED.

Lastly we go round the planet with Cape Town charger, Matt Bromley, as he throws himself into big pits and perfect waves. Edited by Steven Michelson.

Enjoy the mix 🙂
