This Wednesday I bring you the return of that which celebrates the lady’s derrière more than any other publication, the Miss Reef Calendar for 2016. Every year Reef Brazil releases a calendar that as per their advertising campaign for over 2 decades concentrates firmly on the rear part of some very good looking ladies in Bikinis. For this year’s Miss Reef calendar, the young, nomadic photographer Kate Bellm was unleashed into the jungles of Costa Allegre for her wanderlust interpretation of Just Passing Through. She took an edgy perspective but retained the mystery of Miss Reef. The final result was twelve months worth of youth culture-driven pop art of Miss Reef in cerulean lagoons and lush tropical woodlands of the Pacific Mexican coast, all with Miss Reef falling into Bellm’s brand of mischief and adventure.

With the proper summer days this week and temperatures rising, what better way to celebrate than with local swimsuit legend, Genevieve Morton and her two friends frolicking on the beach in their tiny bikinis. As a surfer we all know our history and that of the Hawaiian Islands and how the royalty of that island change started surfing. I think it is safe to say that we have all imagined meeting an Hawaiian princess and watching her magically transform the waves into a wonderland of the imagination. The amazing thing, is that Hawaiian Princess is real and her name is, Kelia Moniz. Now this may just be my recent induction into the world of Longboarding, but how amazing is this video and how graceful does Kelia look in the water?
Kelia ‘Sister’ Moniz is the epitome of effortless style and grace. Our favorite lady logger had mastered the art of hanging ten at an early age. With equal parts happiness and humility, the multi-talented Hawaiian has become one of the most versatile surfers, notching up back to back 2012 and 2013 World Titles.
The most famous derrière in surfing is back with the new range of Bikinis from Rip Curl. Alana Blanchard made name with her good looks and incredible bum, but she is no slouch in the water and can definitely surf. That’s why I chose her for my #WCW this week. Enjoy the video.
