Every Arial Discipline in one video with Red Bull Air Force

Take every discipline that makes a part of the Red Bull Air Force, throw in an Audi, a crack film crew and you get this video, which will surely induce some goosebumps while watching.

What happens when a highly-skilled, precision-flying crew of aerial athletes is tasked with creating their dream project? This incredible video.
“What we wanted to do was show every air sports discipline we do on the Red Bull Air Force team and put it into one massive sequence,” says RBAF captain Jon DeVore.

The video featured skydivers/high-speed parachute flyers Jeff Provenzano and Luke Aikins; wingsuit pilots Jon DeVore, Mike Swanson and Andy Farrington; BASE jumpers Miles Daisher and Charles Bryan; and aerobatic plane pilot Kirby Chambliss, with Sean MacCormac handling coordination from the ground thanks to some precision driving from Rhys Millen in an Audi RS 7.

#helloJetman flying with Airbus A380

This really blows my mind! If I could fly like these guys it would be a dream come true.

Armed with unguarded ambition and the vision to push boundaries beyond the unthinkable, Jetman Dubai and Emirates A380 take to the skies of Dubai for an exceptional formation flight.
A carefully choreographed aerial showcase, conducted over the Palm Jumeirah and Dubai skyline, involving the world’s largest passenger aircraft and the experienced Jetman Dubai pilots Yves Rossy and Vince Reffet.

Jetman Dubai – Young Feathers – Best thing I have ever seen!

This is seriously the best thing I have ever seen! Since I was a boy I have dreamt what it would be like to fly free like a bird of prey and these guys are about as close to that feeling as you will ever get. I had goosebumps the entire time I was watching. So if anyone out there wants to make my dreams come true, sort me out with these guys so i can go fly free at high speeds above the desert sands.

We mark a new milestone in the chapter of human flight. Join Jetman, Yves Rossy, and his protege, Jetman Vince Reffet as they explore the limits in the city of dreams.

“The real dream is to be completely free”

When Dogs Fly – the first dog to go Wingsuit Flying & Base Jumping

Some people are not going to get this, or are definately going to say it is wrong. But, to be honest we have seen surfing dogs, skating dogs, bike riding dogs, skiing dogs… What I am trying to say is that when keeping an open mind about this it actually looks like the dog is pretty amped about flying. Not sure if I would take my dog wingsuit flying one day, but hell, as long as the dog had a good time!

The owner of Whisper, an Australian cattle dog, describes her as ready for adventure even if it means taking a giant leap off the Swiss Alps.
Filmmaker and BASE jumper Dean Potter produced a 22-minute independent film, “When Dogs Fly,” about his family’s stay in the village of Wengen, Switzerland, in 2013 and his best friend, the first dog to ever BASE jump in a wingsuit.
Footage shows the calm pup wearing an array of gear, including so-called doggles, and attached to Potter by a harness while flying to the ground.

RIP Glen Dell

I have always been fascinated by flying and especially the type of flying that Glen Dell was best at. To watch the man fly was an inspiration. To meet him was to meet a gentleman, a patriot and one of the most out on the edge men in the world. To be able to go and fly with Glen was right on top of my bucket list and unfortunately for myself and I am sure many more of his fans, that day will never come. We always talk about how we who live on the edge and push the boundaries of what is possible also put ourselves in danger, but I don’t think Glen would have considered what he did dangerous. I think he would have called what he did life!

You were one of my heros Glen and I salute you!

RIP Glen Dell – 1962-2013
